began with a series of creations designed as gifts for my friends, my family, and myself, things that I hoped would bring a small bit of luxury to the everyday. Bored with standardized note pads, industry hair tool kits, cookie cutter briefcases, and bags that all looked alike, I envisioned functional items, but with personality. For many years, my imagination had been focused on hair. I enjoyed creating looks that were extravagant, playful and still sophisticated. I wanted to see the same qualities in things that I used regularly. Unable to find what I wanted on the rack, I created my own.
